Like all of our stairlifts the outdoor model has a key switch to prevent unauthorized use of the lift, which means it can be isolated when not in use.
 Supplied with UV protected Slate Grey upholstery the Outdoor stairlift also comes with a waterproof cover to keep it protected from the weather so it is always ready for use.

Curved Stairlift features:

• Continuous Charge: The continuous charge function allows the lift to be parked on any part of the track when it is not in use. This means you do not need to worry about where you leave your lift on the track as the batteries will charge in any position.
• Powered Swivel: When you arrive at the top of the stairs you will need to swivel your seat around so you that you exit onto the landing safely. If you have a manual swivel you will find a handle at either side of the seat. By pressing either handle down, or pulling up, you can swivel the seat around to face the landing, where it will lock in place, allowing you to dismount safely.
• Powered Footplate: The footplate and seat can be folded up to increase available space leaving the staircase as clear as possible for other users.

Braking
Symmetry Elevating Solutions stairlifts are built with both electronic and mechanical brakes. Both of these work together to make sure that the chair is able to be stopped by the user should anything happen.

Control Lift Options
It is easy to control the stair lift if there is more than one way to do it. Every lift has a mechanical joystick that is built onto the arm of the chair. However, it is better to also have an infrared remote control. This control is best to have when you have more than one person in the home that will be using the lift. It allows the user to call the lift to them when it is on the opposite side of the staircase. These controls are wireless or they are able to be mounted to a wall.

Seat Belt
For the safest ride you any stairlift rider should be wearing a seat belt. One is provided in all of our stairlift models.
